Fresh Start
It's a new year. I always love that feeling.
The tree is down. The ornaments are stored. The lights are unplugged for another year.
Life seems calmer, cleaner and a bit less cluttered. It's a perfect time for a fresh start.
A fresh start.
Don't we all desire that?
What lies behind us is littered with regret, poor choices and disappointment.
A fresh start brings a sense of hope, and hope is one thing we all want…….and need.
A new year, a fresh start, gives us hope that we can do better. We can regroup and get back on track. We can look at things from a different perspective. For a moment we can take a deep breath and slowly exhale.
Life is cumbersome and a bit overwhelming. That's a fact.
To live with that fact, we have to know there's hope. We have to know there are moments when we can stop, breathe and steer ourselves back on course when we've taken the wrong road, turned down a dead end street or headed for a crash.
If we could only see every day, each new morning, as a fresh start, our mole hills might not turn into mountains.
