Miracle

Each spring my youngest daughter and I await eagerly for the first signs of bluebirds to appear inside their houses. When we see them busily going to and fro, we start peaking inside to see the nests being intricately assembled piece by piece - and seeing what materials they use is half the fun. Once that nest is complete, we know that soon the tiny miracles will appear.

Well yesterday was the day.

When we peaked in, we were greeted by a heavenly blue that only God could create. After all these years, it's a sight that still makes my heart race.

How can such a tiny, fragile thing be so awe inspiring to me and my little girl?

Because it's a miracle.
