Wonder

We look for miracles.

We want to experience wonder.

Yet it’s all around us every day. At every turn.

But amid the busyness and the distractions, they’re lost. Unnoticed.

We miss that breath of fresh air that can lift us, carry us.

But to see, we must stop.

Gaze.

Behold.

There is more than our eyes can take in.

Stop, and look at…

the bark of a tree

the colors in a rock

the details of a feather

the intricacies of a flower

the design of a nest

the complexities of a leaf

the wings of a butterfly

It goes on and on and on

Only by stepping outside our door.

God has surrounded us with wonder. Most of which we never observe. Wonder that no man can ever create. Not even AI.

If only once in a day, we stop and gaze, we can live with a sense of awe and walk with gratitude for being given the opportunity to walk among such things.

When I need encouragement, hope and peace…….I stop, look and listen. To be reminded of who created me. And the wonder that lies within.
