The magnolias are in full bloom right now. So much a part of the tapestry of the South.

It is a gift to have them in front of our house and to enjoy their beauty on a daily basis.

It is one of the most graceful and delicate blooms. Yet so architectural and strong.

I imagine it as a symbol of grace.

After the dark of night, in the light of day, I can see it’s petals outstretched. Opening wide to the world. Bringing purity and hope to all of mankind.
