A handwritten note is still one of the greatest gifts I can receive. No email or text can ever replace the personal touch that comes from the hand, the paper, the pen.
BACK: There are gifts that we might leave after we are gone as a reminder of our existence here. It can be something someone receives or learns from us that will improve life for them as they live out their remaining time. Or the gift we leave might simply be the gift of home. But all of these will eventually pass. Their essence will fade. Even so, we need not be discouraged. Our ultimate inheritance is one that will never fade. It will never leave us. It waits for us. It is our hope.
