The cross is the most meaningful image I know. It reminds me of my helplessness and my hopefulness. I am so pleased to offer my newest journal which contains a series of nine cross paintings I did to portray the different ways it speaks to me. On the back of each one are my words pertaining to that particular cross. I hope this can be a continual reminder of the grace we did not deserve, but was so freely given. Joy for the hope-filled life that is also undeserved. Innocence laid upon the guilty. It was a simple structure designed for an agonizing death. It became a complex, multi-faceted image used as a path to joyful life. It represents to me hope, grace, freedom, promise, forgiveness, love. More good things than could ever be listed on the pages of a book. May the images in this journal stir you to think deeply on what the cross means to you. And may you be left with the deepest sense of gratitude in this life now as we wait longingly for the life to come. "
